Getting to know each other

We get it: meeting someone for the first time can be intimidating, and going to a new church for the first time can be nerve-racking. We want to help make your first experience at Northwood a great one!

Service Times

Northwood meets every Sunday morning at the Maple Grove Community Center. Follow the signs as you approach the Community Center, and look for a friendly greeter in a bright green shirt to direct you into the worship space.

  • Worship Service: Sundays at 10:00am
  • KidsLife Kids Programs (Nursery -6th Grade): Sundays at 10:00am

What can I expect?

How long is a Northwood Church Service?

In total, a Northwood service is about 60 minutes in length. Services begin with the Northwood band leading the church in music – song lyrics are projected onto the screen so you can sing along and/or engage with worship in whatever way you feel comfortable. After the music portion of service is done, one of our pastors will come up and share a hope-filled message about Jesus. Some Sundays, we hear from a Northwooder(the fun word we use to describe our family members) about their relationship with Jesus. We call this a “Faith Story” and it is one of our favorite things about services. In addition to that, we practice Communion once a month.

What’s the culture like at Northwood?

Sundays at Northwood are exciting, Christ-centered, and relaxed. Come as you are and feel welcomed as part of our family.

What about my kids?

We believe that kids should have a blast at church every single week – and at Northwood, we make this a priority. The other thing we make a priority is your children’s safety. Because of that, we have a detailed check-in process for our KidsLife program the first time you visit. Because of that, you’ll want to leave yourself an extra ten minutes to get signed up for the KidsLife experience.
