VBS is Going to Be Better Than Ever!
Did you know that every year an average of 45 kids come to VBS and at least 10-12 kids make a salvation decision every year? That makes VBS one of the largest neighborhood outreach events of Northwood’s year. That got us thinking… what if instead of reaching 45 kids we were able to reach 100 or 150 kids with the good news of Jesus at our VBS? Well, there is only one way to find out! This year we are making some changes that are going to make VBS bigger and better than ever before.
We are moving VBS to the evening from 6:30 – 8:30pm on June 18-22, this will make it easier for kids to attend, and adults and teens to volunteer.
We are adding a day, Friday, June 22. We are hosting a party for families to come together and have fun. It will be perfect for inviting friends and neighbors!
For the first time we will be promoting our VBS in the local schools, getting the message out to thousands of families.
VBS Won’t Happen Without You!
How is all this going to happen? Well the short answer is, with your help! This VBS is going to be on a scale we have never attempted before but we believe that God will use this step of faith to bring kids to Jesus. Northwood, we need you to step up and make this happen. It is going to take over 60 volunteers to pull this off. That means we are going to need everyone to help in some way, even if you’ve never volunteered before.
